All climbers with approved safety harness and approved via ferrata sling (fall protection). In addition, you must carry an extra sling, also called a knee sling. This can be attached to one of the steps to ascertain whether one is tired in the armane, or if there is a “queue” waiting for the person in front of him to climb further. You also have to wear a helmet.

Experienced Via Ferrata climbers can hike on their own, but must register with Åkrafjorden Nature B&B and pay a climbing fee.
Equipment can be rented from Åkrafjorden Nature if you go on your own.
All travel under your own responsibility, the self-declaration form with contact information must be completed.
The recommended age limit is from 6 years.
Expected tour time with guide: 2.5–3 hours at child-friendly pace.
Bring: LUNCH/lunch box, 1.5 liters of drink (preferably more on hot days), windproof jacket, long pants, buff/hat, sneakers with raw rubberized sole and good grip, mountain bag max 5 kg.
Salvage fee: if you are walking on your own and need help from Åkrafjorden Nature B&B, it costs NOK 5000, - per person.
